Davanagere known for its mouth watering benne dose (Butter Dosa) is likely to host a major ITF event next year. This is a part of KSLTA's plan to  promote cities other than Bengaluru as cities which can host big-ticket events.

 

A team consisting of Sri. R. Ashoka, Hon'ble Minister for Revenue, Govt. of Karnataka who is also the President of KSLTA, Mr. Narayana Gowda, Hon'ble Minister for Youth Empowerment & Sports, Government of Karnataka and Mr. Sunil Yajaman Hon. Jt. Secretary of KSLTA visited the Davanagere District Tennis Association Tennis complex here on Sunday. They also met  the President, Secretary and office bearers of Davanagere District Tennis Association who briefed the KSLTA President about the association's activities.

 

Hon'ble Sports Minister assured complete support to all activities of KSLTA to ensure Karnataka produces Olympians and successful Tennis players. Hon'ble Revenue Minister also instructed the Davanagere District administration to complete the pending works of the Tennis complex at the earliest to facilitate an ITF tournament during early 2022
