Bengaluru lass and second seed Shristi Kiran is in line for a double title at in the Girls category of the KSLTA-AITA U-12 CS 7 tennis tournament, an event on the Tattvam Junior Circuit. In the singles semifinals played at the KSLTA Courts here on Wednesday, Shrishti outplayed statemate Pooja Nagaraj 6-1, 6-0 to set up a title clash with Tamil Nadu’s Shravya Numburi who beat Ritisha Choudhary 6-4, 6-1 in the other semifinal.

 Shrishti then joined hands with Thanu Vishwas and won the doubles title beating the pair of Pooja Nagaraj and Deshna Bhattacharya 6-4, 6-0 in the final. The top seeded pair of Tamil Nadu’s Meer Fazal Ali and host state’s Prakaash Sarran outplayed the fourth seeded duo of Anirudh Palanisamy (Kar) and Rithik Jeyant (TN) 6-1, 6-1 to be crowned as the doubles champions.

 The Boys final will see Aryan Dhakshish taking on eighth seed Yashas Raj for the title. Unseeded Aryan stunned the fifth seed Likith Gowda 6-1, 6-3 while Yashas quelled the challenge of Tamil Nadu’s Rithik Jeyant 7-6 (5), 6-3.
