The Karnataka State Lawn Tennis Association (KSLTA) will host the International Tennis Federation (ITF) World tennis Junior J30 - 2024, tournament from August 31st to September 7th 2024, the matches will be held at the Jain International Residential School courts.

The KSLTA – ITF Junior Tournament for boys and girls in the Under-18 category will feature 32 players in the singles main draw and 16 in the doubles category.

The qualifying events will be held on August 31st and 1st September with the tournament main draw starting on September 2^nd 2024.

Qualifying round begins

31^st Aug 2024: The Singles Qualifying Round 1 of both Boys and Girls Under-18 category saw spirited performances, with young tennis talents from across the globe vying for a spot in the main draw. The matches were fiercely contested, setting the tone for the exciting days ahead.

The qualifying rounds continue through tomorrow, anticipation builds for the main draw matches set to begin on September 2^nd the tournament is expected to showcase some of the finest young tennis talents, with the doubles main draw kicking off on September 3^rd.

Four Karnataka players – Srikar Dhoni and Diganth M, (Boys), Aahida Singh and Disha Kumar (Girls) -- have been given wild card entries to the main draw.

The J30 event on the ITF World Tennis Tour Juniors offers 30 rankings points to the winners in both categories while the runner-up gets 18.
