Nidi Buvila S continued her giant killing spree as she blanked the seventh seed Surabhi Srinivas to storm into the semifinals of the Sportle Topspin AITA CS 7 U-18, held under aegis of KSLTA here on Wednesday. Nidi, who had shown top seed the door yesterday, was a 6-0, 6-0 winner over her fancied rival in the Girls U-18 category.

 However, it was Danica Nirmal who stole the show when she beat fourth seed Siri Manjunath Patil in a long battle which lasted almost 150 minutes. The Danica finally prevailed 6-3, 3-6, 10-7.

 Meanwhile in the Boys category, reigning Junior National champion Kriish Ajay Tyagi made it to the last four stage out-powering Rishi Raghavendra 6-1, 6-2 even as the top seed Jason Michael David struggled past Suchir Chetan 2-6, 7-6 (8-6), 10-7 in the other quarterfinal.
